Executive Director, Roger Monty, has been the Director of The Arc of Greater Plymouth since January 2008. He holds a BA from UMass Dartmouth and M. Ed. from Bridgewater State University. During his tenure, the agency has grown from a 1.2 million to a 4 million annual budget. Expansion has occurred in all departments while Adult Family Care and Agency with Choice programs were added.
Roger’s experience working in the field of Developmental Disabilities covers 43 years with 10 of those years at Dever Development Center in direct care and management. His other positions include; Department of Mental Retardation (DMR) Area Director at Harbor/Bay Cove in Boston, DMR Area Director for all of Boston, Asst. Regional Director of Boston, Interim Facility Director of Fernald Developmental Center, DMR Area Director of Taunton/Attleboro and VP of HMEA.
Roger and his wife of 38 years, Ruth, reside in Middleboro. They have 3 daughters and one granddaughter. He serves on the Advisory Board of Dept. of Children and Families in Plymouth.

That attitude is clearly evident in the growth of the individuals we support and the growth of the agency as a whole.
