Volunteer Opportunities!

Have you been looking to become more involved with The Arc of Greater Plymouth on behalf of the people we support?  Please consider the following Volunteer Opportunities!

HUMAN RIGHTS COMMITTEE, SELF ADVOCATE: We are looking for a self-advocate who receives supports from The Arc of Greater Plymouth to participate in our Human Rights Committee!  The commitment would be every other month, for roughly two hours at a time in the evening. Each of our members receives ongoing training to ensure you are supported in your efforts with the committee.  We are fortunate to have a committed group of volunteers who are passionate about advocating for the human rights of those we support and would be grateful to have you on board!

FAMILY ADVISORY COUNCIL:  The Arc of Greater Plymouth is looking for family members/guardians/caregivers/loved ones to be part of our Family Advisory Council.  The purpose of the Family Advisory Council is to work in collaboration with The Arc of Greater Plymouth to provide the family perspective and voice in the organization’s programs and development, while working to support the agency’s mission.  The Council meets every month for two hours, late afternoon/evening timeframe.

If you have an interest in either of the volunteer opportunities presented above, please contact Kathy Baldwin, Director of Organizational Advocacy and Training:  508-732-9292 ext .134 or kathyb@thearcofgp.org
