Sons of Serendip Make Music to Make a Difference


For Concert Article sonsofserendip2On May 17th, at 3PM in Plymouths’ Memorial Hall , The Arc of Greater Plymouth brings together our own incomparable Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra led by Maestro Steven Karidoyanes and The Sons of Serendip for our annual spring fundraiser event. The pairing of these two groups of artists seems a perfect fit for our agencys’ mission of enriching lives and giving back to the community.

Brought together by a series of serendipitous events while pursuing graduate degrees at Boston University(B.U.), the four musicians who comprise Sons of Serendip, have been making music since childhood. Their delicately blended harmonies and perfect arrangements of strings and voices create beautiful music that touches the hearts of their listeners. 2014 Finalists of “Americas’ Got Talent, they had the audience on its’ feet cheering and the judges saying “ I want to buy your album!” The Sons of Serendip recently opened for Oscar winner John Legend.

Micah Christian, lead vocalist , Masters Degree in Divinity from B.U., teaches music and hopes to inspire others to use their gifts and build a better world.

Kendal Ramseur, Cellist, Master of Arts in Music Performance from B.U., composer, cello instructor, chose his instrument at age ten, hopes this quartet creates unforgettable experiences that lead others to a career in music.

Mason Moore, harpist, Master of Arts from B.U., mentored by principal harpist of both the Atlanta and Boston Symphony Orchestras, finds in this group a brotherhood he hopes will inspire others to follow their dream.

Cordaro Rodriquez , pianist, received his Juris Doctor degree at B.U. Law School in 2012. He began teaching himself piano at age ten in Charlotte, N.C. At B.U he met up with his childhood friend Kendal Ramseur as well as future band members Micah and Mason. He has produced music for several well-known international artists.
